Helpfull people at Stratford Boats and Outboards - they usually have a selection of good quality s/h boat trailers at very reasonable prices. Call Justin - mention CMBA, - I just purchased a mint fresh water only SBS 750Kg bunk trailer (c/w trailer board) - looks like new, trail9.jpg - for half curr...

Henley trad boat festival

Is the CMBA present at this weekend's Henley Trad Boat Festival . Last thing I heard at previous years BEALE Park was that the club was welcome. If we are not there, does anybody know why?
I live locally, and thinking of visiting. Any other members going?

love this - Late 1959 VP advertising footage - they tested the later 200 drives using aluminium boats driven over anchored telegragh poles!

I agree with Rapier on the engine - The exhaust set up is a givaway, an early Volvo Penta - probably a B16 (1600cc) and a 100 drive - VP intooduced their first sterndrive (ahead of Mercruiser) at the 1959 NewYork boat show, so possibly she is an early 60's design
