As said, that's from Happyguts's Alpine (2010) not either of mine (2002 & 2003) and it's driven from the normal tacho. drive on the Sunbeam Alpine engine which is a skew gear off the distributor drive.
The odd thing is that it only reads up to 5,000 although that engine is red-lined nearer 6,000.

Re: albatross rev counter

Re: Albatross Alpine restoration
Rootes list a pressure cap for the cooling system but I've been told that Albatross didn't pressurise their systems. Is this true and is it because the heat exchangers wouldn't stand it? Re: Albatross Alpine Continental Slipper Stern
Just thought I'd compare the position of 2010's twin exhausts (apologies for quality) with the two (one blanked off but still visible) on 2002 and the one on 2003. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v247/Tatra_603T2/Albatross%20Alpine/photobucket-1360-1346615080306.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albu...

Yeah. . . . . . . . You haven't got one of those fancy cameras which takes 72 hi-res shots in three seconds so you can pick out the only one which isn't blurred!happyguts wrote:Can anyone tell ?
