Welcome to Ireland - "Cars towing caravan/trailer not exceeding 750kg 100 (62) on motorways; over 750kg 80 (49) outside built up areas and 100 (62) on motorways. If the total weight of the two vehicles exceeds 3,500kg, the limit outside built-up areas is 60 (37) and 70 (43) on motorways".

60mph on dual carriageways & motorways, but only if you get held up by middle lane hogs! Our Mondeo pulls a 16 footer at 85mph quite nicely, so I'm told :giggle:

I just bought 10 x 12" wheels off of fleabay for £20.99 (I did have to make a 3 mile detour on the way to the boat to collect them though :( ) One thing you do have to bear in mind, depending on the hubs fitted is that you may have to cut a slot to clear the grease nipple if fitted, I just cut from ...

After a few weeks of being let down with somewhere to paint, I finally got the use of a decent workshop. At least it's back in it's temporary home in primer & guide coat. Still running thru permutations on colour, must be time to have a serious think over a :drink:

Excellent, thanks very much for the info. They're not a million miles away from one of my boats at Burnham-On-Crouch, might have a trip up the coast & see if I can mingle with the G&T crowd in the yacht marina if they can help me out. Any excuse for a :drink:
