Re: Models
I have one of these (in fact I think it is the actual one in the pic built by Ernie Lazenby - I definitely bought it from him) https://astecmodels.co.uk/gallery/images/image.gif?id=1105443088147 I bought it with the intention of actually using it but didn't ever get around to it. Apparently very ver...

Re: Names for your boats
Delta number one is called Deltina
Number two, Coralta
Both because they are half Delta and half Ford Cortina
Shame I dont have the time to run them any more. May be looking at a sale of one or possibly both in the near future. Sad but thats boating for you.

Re: Mirror boat
Miracle? Longer version of the Mirror IIRC.
Usually had white sails though with a sort of halo over the M.
They did seem to change the shape of them a bit over the years so if you google for pics make sure you are looking at the right era.

Re: Who would like to start doing this !
Me, me..The cuts version is good too. Does away with the lawnmower overdub. http://www.britishpathe.com/video/out-takes-cuts-from-cp-463-oulton-speed-boats Just watched this and the Enterprise 2334 was once mine!! I didnt own it until the early 80s but its definitely mine. Renamed "Captain Slog" it...

Glenn-L Rebel
Lack of space, time and the possibility of a new addition to the fleet means that I am reluctantly offering my Glenn-L up for sale. 1.jpg 2.jpg 3.jpg Bought with a view to getting it on the water ASAP it has been dry stored since last September. To be honest, I havent had much to time to do a full e...

Re: boating in the norlfolk broards
Its all good. Southern Broads are very quiet and things (such as b+bs) are few and far between. Northern Broads (which I always consider to be from Gt Yarmouth upwards) are a bit prettier and have more to offer in terms of pubs, accommodation, shops etc. Virtually everywhere is either 5 or 6mph alth...

Lights and exhausts
Hi chaps (and chappessess) I am looking for some forward facing lights. Almost like car fog lights. The sort of thing I am after fits flush with the hull just below deck level. I would also like a couple of side exit exhaust outlets. I cant even find any pics of the sort of thing I want but hopefull...

Re: Fuel line "crimping" rings
I know you have some now but - in case you need any more, we used to use these for attaching hoses to oxy/acetylene gear. Any engineering company will have loads of these and also the correct tool for clamping them. They are only pennies each and come , if I recall corrctly, in imperial sizes. We us...
