A business associate of mine who lives in Washington DC at first would not believe me when I told him how much petrol is in the UK! He said "how can you afford to go out in a boat?" - it seems his "fishing boat" sports a pair of 7.2 litre Mercruiser petrol engines!

Also a great article on Joe Irving who is a restoration genius!! - he is restoring a "Gentleman's Motor Yacht" from 1935 called Themlayay which I remember from the river Ouse when I was sailing dinghies in the 50s and 60s!
