FOR SALE: Norman 18 weekender / cabin cruiser

Post by Somethingfishy »

Unfortunately due to a change in circumstances, I have to put my newly acquired Norman 18, named Vikki, up for sale.
She is a 1975 classic, running 2 Honda 10hp 4 strokes of mid 80’s vintage in overall good condition.

She has a valid boat safety certificate for a further 3 years (without gas, however she has been adapted to include a gas cylinder holder on the stern so would need to be re-certified should you want to use gas, but all the pipe work is there), and is registered for canal and inland waterways use as well.

She has also received a fresh coat of antifoul ready for the 2020 season.

Inside there is room for a porta potty style toilet, as well as a sink and water tank.

Canopy is in good condition, as is the original gel coat - would warrant a compounding over the winter to bring the shine up again if I don’t get around to it before the sale goes through.

The only area which could do with some work would be to replace the window rubbers and windows for the lower deck, for which is a relatively easy job, and the parts will be included in the sale.

She is currently lying ashore in a marina in Warwickshire on the Avon, and doesn’t include a trailer - however one could be sourced for the buyer if required.

Looking for a quick sale, and asking £2400.
