Honest answer is I don't really know.

I know that they built National 12 class boats as there are a couple registered on the N12 website but i'm unsure as to what other wind powered boats they made. I do own a N12 but it isn't a F&W.

I did see on Ebay going back this time last year there was a larger F&W sailing boat (16ft i think) that had been converted/bodged into an outboard powered river launch type thing. Looked horrid in my opinion.

I realise it's for dinghys and not proper boats but just found this F&W advert. Likes the way its paints a picture of its customers

Hi
Welcome to the forum. I have two F&Ws, one a mk1 which has just had some major work completed and a mk11 which needs re-finishing. Is yours a mk1 or 2? Lots of folks around with plenty of knowledge, joining the actual club wouldn’t be a bad idea, a wealth of knowledge comes with membership plus the added benefit of events being organised for boats like ours. Where are you based?

Unusual for a Mk11 to have a 100e engine. They were to my knowledge (stand to be corrected) all Consul 1703cc engines.

Could you post a photo, I'm interested to see it.

Hey,I think the same it seems that indeed it is a MK 1,as it is fitted with with a 100e,original engine but has been rebuilt in the mid 80's.... i love it already,i am in the process of cleaning and refinishing it,and then onto some re-varnishing as the current finish is not that good with a few runs etc.... all the original chrome has been to the re-finishers too,
