have spent the last few weekend giving the engine a rebuild and major clean up.

after shot, following some aquasonic cleaning and blasting! and changing to twin carbs. have had the head, inlet & exhaust manifolds skimmed.

jobs still to do,

total rewire
re-install engine
tune carbs etc
paint deck
refurb trailer

the list goes on, I only took it in the shed to change the oil.

Looks great, a credit to you, well done!
Mercs are like women, no 2 are exactly alike. That's what testing is about. In general it is safer to test motors and props than women!

Next winter just change the spark plugs :giggle: . Nice job it does take ages to reassemble all those bits. how did the deck come out.
