Hi John, spoke to Mike tonight via telegraph. We've set the date for the 20th....was balmy last year...I hope is again. If like this weekend, we're all going to need some whale blubber to smear on our faces..

Am in the process of getting DIXIE DISHWASHER ready and willing (immersion suit already packed). Hope to see you there. N

Weather - Itchen and Scratchin Run - 20th March 2010

Postby Rapier » Wed Mar 17, 2010 6:42 pm

Weather watch says that it'll be light rain and 18mph winds on Sat, which will prove unpleasant. It may improve between now and Sat. Sun seems a better bet, but is likely to interfere with prior planning on your ends. I'll keep you posted.

18mph = top end of a force 4 :( That will not be nice. Agree Sunday seems the better day but I, for one can't make it then. A real shame as we have had some perfect days this week. Fingers crossed it changes between then & now.
More space & more time to play boats please!
