Great post. Nowadays the health and safety brigade would kaibosh such fun in the 1st film, including that beaching....if not, someone would sue for getting wet. One has to laugh at the over-dubbed outboard 'noise' and lift music in the background.
Interesting to see the big Fletcher Arrow V170 with Merc twins taking the 'flag'. Ugly, but fit for purpose in these waters. Even the little V130 makes an appearance, complete with indeterminate West Bend 35 to 50 horsepower.
