Brilliant day - many thanks to all of the organisation crew, especially those who love rubber and spent the day in
waders doing all the launch and recovery - did anyone get pictures?

Agree, cracking run in Solitaires Sorcerer and despite a damp nether region (time to replace the waders), plus thanks to those that issued commands on behalf of the 'recoverer', who was flagging - you know who you are...solitaire wrote:Brilliant day - many thanks to all of the organisation crew, especially those who love rubber and spent the day in

Glad all got home ok - twice I had people doing less than 55mph in the middle motorway lane, with a clear nearside to move into. Bring on 6 points for lane-hogging & time to change law to allow undertaking.
Fasten bra straps and remove dentures...

Re: IVY LAKE
Not such a good day for me only once round the lake and the problems started to show themselves but that is what this event is all about.
However, meeting up with old friends and new made up for the mechanical failures of a new boat.
Very many thanks to Floater for organising the event and to all those involved in our launch and recovery, you make our boating that much easier and it is appreciated by everyone.
A great day and the weather was kind as well.
