Henley Trad Boat Festival

Post by solitaire »

Just taken a look at their web site for the 2017 Festival . The extract below is in the "entry form" and the rally general info, does this apply to CMBA stand and boats?

"To qualify for entry, a craft's hull must be constructed of wood, riveted steel or iron (not welded), or canvas.
Plywood, ferro-cement and GRP boats do not qualify. (Plywood is permitted in superstructure/decking/internal partitions only)".

That looks like wording from the old format Trad Boat Rally. we certainly had tin, plywood & (I think) fibreglass boats on our stand last year.

Worth speaking with the CMBA stand organisers about this though.
Mercs are like women, no 2 are exactly alike. That's what testing is about. In general it is safer to test motors and props than women!
