Albatross #140 found - with date!

One of my customers took an Albatross in as part payment against a car, and asked me to take a look at it. Turned out to be an early model, in reasonable shape, paintwork restored, but with a non-original Kent engine and a few other mods over the many years.

The most interesting bit was that, on the back of the hatchplate to the bow compartment, he found a name and date 'painted' on using the sealant for the plate: "K Smith 28th July 1955". He's now unearthed the number, which is 140. So we have a build date and number to tie together. Not earth-shattering, but interesting.

I think he wants to sell it, so if anybody feels like taking it on, let me know.
