Inspection hatch recommendations? Update Endoscope results

Hello
I have a 13' Owens runabout and although it hasn't been in the water for many years it has been outside, in the rain. There are no obvious signs that there is anything wrong with the sole / deck / floor however as there are no seats there are at least 8 1/2" holes. My fear is that rain water has got through these holes. Although I've not weighed it the boat does seem heavy for the published 472lbs weight.
It has been recommended that I cut one or two holes which are then covered with inspection hatches. My preference would be one at the stern, close to the drain pocket in the centre of the transom and the other in the bow, on the bow side of the foot rest.
I have been looking around for low profile, screw in hatches with 'O' ring and have become bemused with the choice. Does anyone have any recommendations as to a manufacturer?
Once I ascertain the sole / floor / deck is sound I can begin paint stripping, which will lead me on to another post....
