Hi has anyone bought the CD manuals for outboards that are for sale on Ebay, are they any good?? or are the books better??
NOT for me but a local mate!! I have the paper ones.

Hi Austin. I have bought one on CD & it is fine - just a scanned copy of the original in my case. I would, however, always much prefer the proper book - it's an awful lot easier to take to the bench/boat than a PC!
Mercs are like women, no 2 are exactly alike. That's what testing is about. In general it is safer to test motors and props than women!

Hi Austin, yes brought Merc manual on CD Ebay, the same content as the printed one but about 1/8 the cost. Just print the page you need at the time.
