My brooms Yamaha!

Post by mad millie »

Evening all
Since buying my 30hp yammy I've always limped along with the control box that the boat came with,it is badly knacked and the cables are three foot too long!!
So I purchased a second hand 703 Yamaha box, it's in excellent condition. I then went to my local ish chandlery and bought Yamaha cables and new clips to fit the cables to the engine! Sorted!!!!
Went out to the boat and took apart the control box and aaarrrrhhhh there's no clips on the arms to attach the new cables too!
How difficult does it need to be to marry up all these original Yamaha parts!!!!
So tomorrow back to the shop with all my bits and hope that they are not a back order item from Japan !!!
Rant over!!
Boats eh!
Jon..

I think thats just boats!!!
Mercs are like women, no 2 are exactly alike. That's what testing is about. In general it is safer to test motors and props than women!
