Pin-drive props?

Post by HughN »

My Invicta Jupiter (which was for sale but now I am going to keep because of potential buyers who are pain  ) uses pin-drive props. These - especially used ones - seem as rare as the proverbial rocking-horse deposits.

Does anyone know of a good way to track these down? Even one of the hubs would be a good start...!

Thanks

Hugh

It turns out I'm looking for rocking-horse poo because I'm looking for LH props.

...the answer is to buy the more-readily available RH props (e.g., from OMC electro-shift engines) and change the controls so that 'forward' and 'reverse' are swapped. The gears in the gearbox are identical and the manual says it can run in either direction. ;)
