A question to those who know or have already 'been there'.
My Albatross drive coupling looks very similar to the one pictured in the thread below. Similar but of course not the same. Instead of the cylindrical collar, it has a substantial hex. Is disconnecting the drive as simple as locking the engine side via a couple of pins and unscrewing the hex (presumably left hand)?

Assuming it's a 100E/E93A engine, the coupling has two differential LH threads, so unscrewing the big brass nut pulls the tapered & threaded shaft out of the engine side.
As it's brass, the threads can easily be damaged. The nut & shaft is probably stuck, so lots of patience and alternating heating cooling is likely to be called for. If you wreck the nut it's expensive to have another made! I have an original which could be used as a pattern if required...
