Techo for old'ish outboards ??

Going by the tech spec, it should work, the only thing I'm not sure about is the size of the read out , it says "8mm" , I'd have to carry a magnifying glass..!

I agree with se7en, looks like it will work with any spark ign. engine. One assumes it has a switch so it knows when it is working on a two or four stroke motor.

Thanks for feedback, yes the size @ 8mm me too was thinking was a wee bit small but co-driver Mrs T15 would be using it "handheld" for test runs with a "new" prop etc, the "mate" is buying a few from the USA & at around £11 ish pounds me thinks I would try one.

I used their GPT Digital Tacho on my raceboat - brilliant. It had a peak rpm memory, programmable overspeed light, and an option to read temperature as well. You can set it to work on any conceivable number of cylinders etc. I used sticky velcro to mount it so it was removeable. If I could see it, anyone can!

It just needs a wire wrapped round one HT lead; I extended the original wire and incorporated a spade connector for easy powerhead swaps, no problems.
