My tray is the later type without a cobra head plug, instead it has an oval cutout at the back above the fuel connection through which the loom and power cables pass. The loom should go to a multi pin plug on the side of the airbox but mine is a little different. The pressure tube goes down to the floor of the tray then back to join the loom and cables and lays in a natural hollow between the cables in the oval cutout to exit. The nylon tube is quite tough so will not kink until it is forced to quite a tight radius.

Thanks again Floater.I'll try through the hole that is there, maybe try and elbow if beat. Will be a couple of days as axle of trailer for derusting and painting, and let me tell you a snipe trailer with boat on axle stands,is not the steadiest of platforms
no matter how bad it is,it can always get worse,I'm an optimist
