Mercs are like women, no 2 are exactly alike. That's what testing is about. In general it is safer to test motors and props than women!

Well what a fabulous weekend that was, it may have only been done at 5 mph but it was a lovely couple of days in great company on the water. A bit damp on Saturday morning but mostly sunny from then on. Many thanks to Phil & Lynda for all their effort in putting it on.

Re: Thames trip 2017
Janice and I had a fabulous weekend and our thanks go to Phil and Lynda for organising it. Thanks also to everyone else that helped us launch and recover the boat it makes such a difference and is so much appreciated by us.
We really look forward to this event as it makes a very pleasant change from tearing about with a WOT. Roll on next year and Nick it was a pleasure since you would have been there for us should it have been necessary.

Was indeed a cracking event, made all the more enjoyable being spread over two days. Thanks to Phil and Lynda for the organisational effort and cat herding.
For some reason the little Honda 5 burned a bit more fuel than usual, either my lad has a lead elbow or we were just ragging it to keep up with the pack
