I've found enough Trackmark for the floor of A54.
Question now is what to stick to with.
You can buy specialised adhesives but very costly for much more than is needed.
Bostick seems to be a cheaper option but they advise a special primer - still expensive.
Any other suggestions or spare cans lying around that could be a cost effective solution?
Also any input on preparing the aluminium surface? Well abraded I guess.
Thanks

Re: Adhesive for Trackmark
I had a conversation with someone recently who'd had issues with gluing original Trackmark...I think Dunlop had their own glue...perhaps it separation of a backing material on new old stock that had come to the market...Am not much help, but just hang fire before you do some serious abrading as someone may poke their head up here with better intel. I covered my Pearly Miss seats in large diamond Trackmark with Korapur, was fine, but needed to be spread evenly which I would think is better achieved with higher viscosity glue .
Fasten bra straps and remove dentures...

Re: Adhesive for Trackmark
When I was fortunate enough to have some new Track-mark for my Moonfleet, I stuck it down with Evo- Stick which was 6 years ago and it hasn’t come off yet ! A bit fiddly and messy but it did the job

Thanks for the various inputs.
By well abraded I just meant to take the shine off the aluminium panel to give some key. 80/120 with the random orbital sander.
Well it can’t be that difficult? What could possibly go wrong!
