Re: Chrome.
Thank you for your sage comments, Alacrity.
Happily, this is a freshwater boat so it will be spared the abrasive qualities of salt crystals.
I don't intend towing it anywhere, but if I do, I will protect the contact points accordingly.

Re: Chrome.
I decided upon a full length cover to protect the decking. My last cover only covered from the windscreen to the engine hatch.

Re: Chrome.
I thought of a solution to painting the "Broom" name on the topsides; an indelible "chisel" permanent marker.

Re: Chrome.
The logo is moulded into the hull and raised a few mm's - hence me thinking a steady hand will do the job.
Thanks for the offer of a stick on set, though!
The picture size isn't the problem - it may be something at my end; I'll try again.

Re: Chrome.
Any advice on painting in the name "Broom" on the rear of my hull? Is a steady hand all that it takes or maybe a surrounding template and a wee radiator roller?
I've tried to upload a picture, but the site wont let me - anyone know why?
Cheers.

Re: Chrome.
I started preparing my boat's hull last week and just got the first coat of paint on. Below the water line has been primed and will get the anti fouling applied in about six days time. I hope to be in the water by Easter - fingers crossed!
