Re: Nautalloy Catalogue

I'm duty bound to remind readers that the CR554 cleat was used on the bow of the Delta and was officially known to all associated with Ray W as ..... the Flying F*rt.

British Anzani Racing Motors & History

Recently there's been a lot of interest in these old motors, some of it triggered by my running one in the USA in January. Hopefully we'll have another one running for a CMBA meet this year - if of course we can find a suitable venue where a bit of noise isn't too much of a problem! Does anybody hav...

Re: Nautalloy Catalogue

Well, I never thought of using the bow lamp as a cleat... I don't doubt that these were sold under the Nautalloy brand, and presumably made by them - but mine definitely came in an AquaMarine box! I guess Peter Allen could shed more light on this, he used to sell the damn things. Pity he doesn't hav...

Suggest using only stainless cable, and only 7 x 19 construction which is the most flexible. Terminals should be looped back and clamped with 2 bulldog grips. I saw a raceb...

Re: Hydro Engine starter

Here's the starter.... http://www.macckartingonline.co.uk/kart ... 1406-p.asp

Bit pricey, but no doubt there's somebody who sells it for less.

Doesn't look hard to make if you can find the right motor.

Done.

Don't forget to make appropriate comments - the questions are 'closed' and don't allow free answers, especially re times of the year. Ideal opportunity to criticise the local idiotic bureaucrats!

This could be an opportunity to blast the Green Wellie Brigade off the water!

Re: Chairman's here!

I'm kind of hoping we'll get away from the full-page signature pics beloved of certain members...!!! ;)

They, incidentally, caused a lot of problems while I was in the US and forced to use a mega-slow dialup connection!

Re: Anzani Videos

It's a 70s Utility built by Austin Boats of Texas I think, they don't race them here, very light 10' long flat-bottomed thing. I didn't get to drive it and I'm not all that bothered - it looked a bit hairy! A lot smaller than a Jinx, I thought. I'm kind of keen to get the little hydro running again,...
