Had a good first run out from crosshouse slip on sunday. Engine ran well and boat handled beautifully.

Re: Itchen & Scratchin Run?
I could be heading out this weekend, Will be my first trip out on the boat since getting it 18 months ago, Sadly not a lot has been done in the way of restoration but it at least has a nicely running motor now. Actually it's all going to be a new experience for me. Most of the boats I've launched ha...

(W) Mercury reverse locking cam.
As per subject, I'm looking for a mercury reverse locking cam for a '74 Merc 500 current part number 43308T1.
Don't suppose anyone has a spare I can purchase at less than dealer cost?
Thanks in advance.

Fleabay is often good for small quantities of stainless fixings if you can't find anywhere locally.

Re: CMBA Outboard Spares
I've been scouring ebay for a month or so for one now, all to no joy.
There's a few in the states but by the time i've paid postage and customs i could buy a new one over here.
Don't really want to wait any longer, my arm's starting to hurt from the pull starting.

Re: CMBA Outboard Spares
Sorry my mistake,
It's a Merc 500, circa 1975.
I can't be more precise than that as the serial plate was missing when I bought it and I've not managed to find one on the block.
Thanks
