Molesley Lock to Teddington is now reporting normal stream rate, so the bottom half of the trip should be OK - providing it doesn't rain solidly for the rest of the week.

Never needed a BS certificate to attend a CMBA rally yet. (at least, not for the boat :-) )

However - if your printer can stand it - go here http://www.boatsafetyscheme.com/site/GettheGuide_7.asp and download a copy of the Safety Scheme Mk2.

You need some form or BSS certificate for just about everything except a rowing boat. However, the older the boat, the more exemptions seem to apply - especially in the Gas department. If you only want to use your boat for a limited time, you can self certify to say its perfectly safe. Hence I can r...
