Re: Doel Fins already fitted
We used to use Devcon metal filler paste in the workshops when I worked in the factory. great stuff, very handy for the odd misplaced or spare hole. When cured the area could be machined filed drilled or tapped. Not sure of the cost we were MoD so unconcerned with such matters but probably not cheap...

Re: Boat Windscreen Material???
I used 3mm tinted acrylic for the screen on my Waverider Mustang. According to the data sheet at 3mm thick It can be cold formed to a minimum radius of 600mm although with a little application of a heat gun it will go tighter without need for a mould tool. It is available in sheets up to 3M long han...

Re: shakespeare skiman restoration
Welcome to the forum, there are a few Shakespeares in the association so someone will probably pop up with the info you need. In the meantime this site is worth a look at for basic details of Shakespeares and derivatives http://people.dsv.su.se/~klas/Boats/home.html although not regularly maintained...

Re: Small qty of Marine Ply anyone?
Shakespeare transom replacement also mentioned previously here http://cmba-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1679 As it's such a pig of a job I used the best materials I could afford to ensure never needing to do it again, but as rapier says with the typical limited use cheap stuff will probably last...

Re: Itchen and Scratchin Run
Stuck here in yuma Arizona at the moment some good lakes here dotted along the colorado but nowhere to hire a boat so a group of us resorted to "tubing" down the mighty river with a cooler of beer instead.
Sad to be missing such fun and fine weather at home.
