Great progress, well done.
I used rot proof ribbed polypropylene carpet from Toomer and Hayter when I did my boat. You may find it cheaper elsewhere though, they're not cheap.

Good progress. Regarding the stuck screw, you could use a dremel type multitool with a fibre cutting disc to cut a slot in the end of the screw to hold it whilst undoing the nut but really you may as well just plough on and cut the nut off with the disc.just go careful and pause occasionally to let ...
