I'd agree with Tim. Don't worry about it. With a little practice and the right technique, you can get an Albatross into the tightest spaces, and failing that, it is so light that paddling it is not a problem. It's just another thing to go wrong.

Standard weight for a two seater in 1965 was 720lbs fitted with either the Ford 122E or the climax.

We won best wooden boat at Cardiff last year. We need to return the prize for the next recipient, but we can't go this year.
