Lake Hopatcong Antique & Classic Boat Society, New Jersey

These links say it all really. Unfortunately I'm not 'in' enough yet to get some onboard footage, but my membership form is in the post. :) It was a part replacement for me missing Cardiff this year. :hmmm: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10150228951816485.317845.624976484&l=6bdfb5da85 (You...

Re: 2011 Irish Rally......ask and you shall receive!

Great writeup Geoff. :notworthy: Delighted that all the visitors enjoyed the holiday/rally/fresh water/ :drink: . Can't wait to see some of the pics getting out of your camera in the coming days when you've recovered. I especially liked the few where T15 was giving Chris a prize......that makes a ch...

Great to read your post Alacrity......it seems like a long time since last years AGM in Cardiff when the idea was first 'launched'.

Looking forward to the pics.....Enjoy next weekend also. :wot:

Re: 8mm / Video / DVD footage needed

Nick,

I've put a load up on Youtube (same username as here) in the last 2 years from the Cardiff rallies.

Let me know if you want me to try and get the files to you. I'll have to put them on a memory stick and 'fedex' it to you :hilarious:

Here's a few links I got from a recent newsletter of the American Outboard Motor Club:

The people you meet, and things they sell...

(As background to this post, I have recently emigrated to the USA from Ireland :help: , living in New Jersey now). So I was doing my usual browse of the local Craigslist Boat classifieds and came across an old (very old!) small outboard advertised as follows: A Well Cared For 1947 ELGIN Model 501 3....

Re: hi, I'm new to boating

Hi yellowking welcome , Since you are new to boating, just to let you know going out 3 times and having various engine issues is quite the norm :hilarious: At least you got out! I've been considering a timeshare at the local slip with all my troubles.... Welcome to the club - next step..........

Removeable Aux. Outboard bracket (Like on Zulu)

I noticed on Andy's Tremlett 'Zulu' that he has what appears to be a plate on the transom which I assume is for attaching a removeable auxiliary bracket.

Would anyone be able to confirm this and let me know if these types are available anywhere, or if it was a one-off build?

Thanks Guys.

Chris - will this one do of Jeremy?
Unfortunately the quality isn't the best as it was a quick snap on my camera phone.
