Most if not all the bits was jamed in the pump ! causing a hose to come off !! My new impellers came very quickly..and have been fitted..so hopefully when i put a hose in tomorrow and fire her up if there is any loose bits they will flush out..i will run the engine up to temp..and keep my eye on the...

Well it turns out that the pin was a screw! Which needed a very small allen key to undoe...all done now ! thanks for your interest.

JBASCO IMPELLER REPLACEMENT?
Hi Chaps.. My Impeller is in bits!!...i have ordered two new ones so no problem with replacement except i cannot remove whats left,its the middle bit that sits on the shaft..i can see a very small pin? there is no slot in the shaft so it dosnt just push on or pull off ! does anyone know how to remov...

Hello chaps
I have spoken to the engineer and aparently it is best to adjust these geerboxes whilst in the water as the water will provide some resistance...which means Misty will be in the water within two weeks...i will let you know how it goes.. very excited

Hi Sol.. Yup i have seen those links...however i have now found an Engineer that knows all about them...a simple adjustment is all thats needed hopefully ! i have read loads about the noises in reverse etc aparently it all works on a tapered shaft...i just want tit to work so "Misty" can go in the w...

Seem to be having issues with my gearbox,after some research i now find that it is made by Wortham blake and is proberly a fisherboy ? trouble is nutral and reverse are hard to find,,any tips/ info/ spares or ideas.thanks in advance..Mel.
