Re: Cardiff Photos

If anyone took any photos of "Healey" at Cardiff I would be interested in a view.

Cardiff Photos

I have at last managed to load all the photos I took at Cardiff. They are on photobucket. My belated thanks to "the crew" for a great weekend.

Re: Jack Frost and the Bowman oil cooler

Just a thought on your overheating coil. If you are using a dynamo it is possible that your regulator is overcharging. I would check the actual voltage at the coil, even if you have an alternator, as these can also cause problems. Nice to see you at Mallory Park last weekend for the VSCC meeting. Te...

Re: Wanted: Johnson 6HP service manual

Hi Mirak. I have a spare parts catalog for a 1967 6hp models CD-CDL-24S. Has good clear diagrams and I find more usefull than the workshop manuals.
Have other parts manuals for many Johnson outboards, mainly 1964. Workshop manual for 1966 Evinrude 18hp and original owners manual.

Re: Crescent 39

I have an extra long leg for one of these somewhere in the loft. I don't think it has ever been used.

Jones Boatyard Gala

Anyone going to this event? Looks like an interesting site with lots of interest. Camping is available, I understand. I intend to take my Healey sportboat for its first outing under its new management (me). Sea Trials took place today, with minor adjustments only required. :perfect:

Re: New to club with Healey boat

Thanks Rapier and Welshhealey for your response. I intend to use the boat at as many of the club events that I can fit in. I also have a couple of classic cars- including,of course, an Austin Healey (1955 100) and they keep me fairly busy during the summer. I will have a look tomorrow in the suggest...

Re: New to club with Healey boat

It was the one that recenly sold on ebay. It was described as a 55 built in 1961 with a 1600 engine. However it is one of the first batch of about 40 boats as it is 16 foot and has a 1500 engine, so was probably built in 1956. I haven't managed to find a hull serial number as yet, but the engine is ...
