FALMOUTH 2021 CANCELLED
I am sorry to announce that the Falmouth Event for 2021 will not be taking place. There a number of factors which have resulted in this decision related to Covid; accomodation; visitor numbers; prices, and unrelated to Covid I am going to be out of action from the 20th August for 3 months following ...

Possible Falmouth Event 2021
Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening. I have made the first approach to the Maritime Museum. They are having a very busy time right now with preparing to open to the public in a few days then playing host to the G7 press teams. There appear to have been a few changes over the past 2 years and the Museum n...

Re: A Thank you from HRH Prince Charles
That is a wonderful choice from our viewpoint and it's really nice it obviously resonated with HRH The Prince of Wales as a memory that has stayed with him. By the by, I wonder if anyone knows the current location/owner of the Albatross(s) previously owned by HRH Prince Phillip? A life of devoted se...

Re: New Member, Working on a DELTA.
Hi Matt and welcome to the club. I had a V6 Delta for 4 years. Was great fun but had to let her go for another boat. See Padstow Delta Lady 2015 on U tube ! Ray Wright built the Deltas after leaving Albatross Marine. Early boats in Aluminium, Later boats in GRP. Mine was 1970's GRP. With the Essex E...

Re: Antifreeze for Albatross
HI, if nothing else you have made me discover at least 6 different types of Coolant/antifreeze. Having had a quick look I have gone for the 'Green' as I seem to recall my earliest cars had green antifreeze and they dated nearest in years to the age of the boat engine. The only other info I know is n...

Re: Engine cutting out - potential causes
Hiya, Cant remember what engine you have in her but I had a Ford Escort 1100 years ago that started to break down (stall) at the same place every day on the way to work. The car started again immediately and it went on for about 10 days before I found the problem.... turned out to be the Condenser.....

Re: Insurance question
Good Morning, Harking back to my Insurance days in the 1980's the general rule was you cannot insure something you do not have an 'interest' in. So I could not insure the Crown Jewels and claim if they were stolen........But like all Rules there may be exemptions. Simple answer is clear it with your...
