Thanks everyone - I am would also hate to see the Forum die, there always appear to be plenty of people viewing but just not much input - must be the time of year! - also agree the search facility is often overlooked as a valuable source of data on a host subjects that has been discussed in the past...

I've tried buying the Taylor Made ones direct from CH Marine and Taylor Made (Ireland) for almost two years and agree they are the best, but they have not been available - will give CH another chance and call them again ...........

It would appear the CMBA face book page is getting a great deal more use for passing on information about events and useful info than the Forum these days.
I expect I am not alone in noticing the Forum is becoming very quiet vs Facebook. Is Facebook the way to go if the a Forum is dying.u

If it's a genuine Sea Tiger, it should be a 1600 crossflow - and the block casting number supports this - (allegedly the M stands for Mexico) - gearbox slipping is just an easy adjustment unless the plates are totally shot, but I think Sherdam marine will have new ones - So it should be a very usefu...
