How do I insert a picture into a PM?

Here is a link you can use,go into user control panel and click profile and edit avatar.Then use this link to bring your photo down to the right size. I have just used it.

Sorry for the delay in replying
At present there is no facility to insert or attach a picture to a Personal Message to another board member - you can put a link to an image in a PM using the [ img ] tag (located at the top of the PM box) if you are hosting the image somehwhere else, (eg Photobucket etc).
Alternatively, (if the recipient doesn't mind disclosing), it is probably easier just to email them any pics direct.
The reason for this is merely to conserve server space - which costs - although I will shortly be reviewing the situation to see if I could introduce this feature without placing too many demands on our overheads.
