When I collected my Mercury 7.5hp outboard I also had the C-Craft C100 which the guy had bought new in 1975. He passed me the brochures he had when he bought it too.
Will possibly take the dinghy to CMBA events so if anybody wants to try out their outboards (under 10hp) they'd be more than welcome. There are a lot of our members that have collectible outboards that don't see the light of day but this could offer the chance of something suitable to start them on.

Can imagine has been looked after .. and with it's solid transom can take more weight than the Zodiac Zed I bought below and it looks like it'll plane easily too! Would like to do a short pub run for anyone with classic kickers; I know the Seagull owners do rallies, so maybe we could organise a Thames run in the summer.

Once the Merc 7.5hp is running I'll get it blown up and take some photos. It's rated for 10hp. It has the two large tube and a small one up the middle under the wooden floor to provide a bit of a V shape to the hull.
As I said I'll take to CMBA meet if any body has a motor they'd like to run.
The Zodiac looks mint. Is that a Johnson 3hp on the back?

Hi, this is a long shot as you may not be on here anymore! But I've just bought a Dunlop C Craft ( just over 13ft) and really appreciate yours pics. My problem is that I can't see them clearly Is there any chance you can post a close up of the most suitable one (size wise)? There is so little online about these boats that it's quite frustrating to refurbish mine! One (possibly daft) question: the floorboards are numbered but which way up do they go?! The "toblerones" seem to fit the raised edges, so if placed on top of the boards, then we need to step over the ridges. Is this correct or should I have a smooth flooring? Hope you see this! Many thanksbigminiandy wrote:When I collected my Mercury 7.5hp outboard I also had the C-Craft C100 which the guy had bought new in 1975. He passed me the brochures he had when he bought it too.
