Hi all I just wanted something cheap to get me up down the river . I swaped this for some old outboards that did not work, Its first time I done anything like this with plywood, but when I was scrapping the paint off the plywood .the plywood came off with it, :grrr:
It only took me a week to repair and paint and varnish. suppose I should spent longer but looks OK.
I might work on another plywood boat again, I post some more pictures latter I got old seagull engine and 6 horse to make it fly it a long and some sails when I run out of petrol. :woo:

Yo! well saved, I think you may have a Cadet dinghy there rather than a Mirror, the Mirror has gun'ls without a side deck... sailed a Mirror for years (back when I had hair), brilliant boat even did the Nationals one year, 120 boats in a race all trying to get the windward end of the start line for the gun...great fun

Interesting little boat. I'm afraid I'm not much help - but I can say that it is neither a Mirror or a Cadet! Which does make it a bit of a puzzle. If you really want to find out I would suggest looking at the classic and vintage racing dinghy site - where a similar level of expertise in those types exists to the power varieties here!

Best of luck.

The boat does look quiet big on the picture, but it is 11ft long and 5ft wide and does have mirror sails,
