Woody Runabout trip to Dawlish

Post by GrahamT »

First trip out on the longest day so I launched from the back beach Teignmouth where the parking is close and the hard beach ok at any state of the tide. Once the fuel line was attached to the outboard she started fine. Not equipped yet for my bass fishing the gentle cruise passed by the Parson & Clerk stack and onwards to see whats going on along the rail workings ongoing to future proof the London - Penzance route.
The sea defence wall nearing completion is ugly from any angle and destroys the beach front. Cliff stabilizing near the long tunnel is preparing for extending the Parson's tunnel. Photos here: Image
