Re: Sabena Sapphire
There's a guy local to Southampton - boat is powered by a Jaguar motor, but haven't seen him for a few years. Last saw one on ebay 6 years ago.

Yes i found out about that, at the time guy wanted £14k for it.
Thought that was a little heavy as it had been messed with, home made screen and alloy

Re: Sabena Sapphire
A member spotted one (at least I thought it was one) near Pevensey Bay a few months back.
This was the ebay one.

Re: Sabena Sapphire
This is what I saw at Pevensey Bay recently, don't know if it is still there.
Mercs are like women, no 2 are exactly alike. That's what testing is about. In general it is safer to test motors and props than women!
Re: Sabena Sapphire
Dont know what the small one would be,looks like it was outboard?
The one with a leg could have a jag inboard do you think ,they were called Star Sapphire, like to own that one.
Mine is the Sapphire with pre X flow Ford & Wortham blake Fisherboy gearbox.
Half way through resto,Getting there.
