Dixie's gone to a new CMBA home in Nottingham for duty on the Trent today. Strange how some boats can come and go, but it's always a wrench to sell the ones that matter. Just as well though, a boat like that belongs on the water, miles away from a museum and is useless sitting on a drive waiting for flat water, which is what it's done for awhile.

That day was wet! My favourite trick was to run at speed during the flypast at the Cardiff rally; she'd throw up bow spray 20ft in the air which would then blow back onto the boats and drivers either side of me....While trying it to get Alacrity I accidentally drenched Blue Mist and his guest..very embarassing (but very funny).
