well at long last i have the tremlett 17 home and it is complete with it's johnson 115 v4 engine, WHAT a beast it looks on the plate it says GT10S so it is not an actual racing engine but still looks awesome, NOW i want to take the enging off the boat, so that i can claean it all up especially the covers as they had been painted white as per the photo, but i am wanting to know the original colour green, it looks like a drab olive green but as i am ex forces everything looks drab olive green LOL
also any tech info on these engines much apprieciated

GT10S is the real racing engine. GT10S is the model number of the 1967/68 Johnson GT-115 race motor.
When you get your camera ready for pictures, take some of the lower unit, especially the exhaust outlet and alternate exhaust outlet.

On your boat, probably 55mph ... its only 116.2 hp
Your speed will be zero until you find one of the special props made for this motor. As you were told earlier, props for that motor are very rare.

Performance and speed depend on the boat, not the motor.
I am sorry I do not have any information on your boat. On completely different boats the motor is capable of approximately 80 mph, but not on a boat such as yours.
