I returned late Monday from what can only be described as a fabulous week of boating in Scotland. Firstly the Caledonian Canal trip, six boats made the journey & we completed 113 miles in the 3 days. NO RAIN !! Then on to Loch Lomond on Friday for the rally there with 13 boats attending, great sunny weather with little or no wind, great event with great people.
The icing o the cake was my little 1500 tin Delta ran like a gold watch the whole week covering over 200 miles without missing a beat & sipping fuel like scrooge.
Many thanks to the organisers of both events, I can't wait until next time.

Caledonian & Lomond - fabulous!
Mercs are like women, no 2 are exactly alike. That's what testing is about. In general it is safer to test motors and props than women!

Captain birdseye?
Sounds fantastic and uncharacteristic weather for Scotland, any photos?
